Kyrgyzstan holding talks with China on constructing refinery, oil pipeline

BISHKEK. Sept 23 (Interfax) - Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Erlist Akunbekov has discussed the development of joint projects for constructing an oil refinery in Kyrgyzstan, exploring and developing fields, and constructing an oil pipeline for transporting petroleum products across the Kyrgyz-Chinese state border with the heads of the Chinese oil and gas corporations CNPC and Sinopec, the Kyrgyz government's press service said.
