Summer heat may increase Uzbekistan's energy consumption to record 280 mln kWh per day

TASHKENT. July 13 (Interfax) - Daily electricity consumption in Uzbekistan during the expected abnormal heat may reach 280 million kWh, and the maximum load on the power system could be 13-13.3 GW, the Uzbek Energy Ministry said.
