Half-point rate cut seen as more effective than quarter-point - central bank chief
ASTANA. Oct 23 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The Kazakh National Bank’s monetary policy committee considered not only keeping the base rate unchanged but also cutting it by 0.25 and 0.5 percentage points, regulator chief Timur Suleimenov said.
