Kazakhstan to build $1.6 bln ammonia-urea complex to cut fertilizer imports


ASTANA. June 10 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan is pushing ahead with an 804.2 billion tenge ($1.6 billion) ammonia-urea complex in the western city of Aktau, a project aimed at slashing the country's reliance on imported fertilizer, the prime minister's press service said Wednesday.
