Eurasian Development Bank to finance KMG-SIBUR-Sinopec polyethylene project in Kazakhstan

ALMATY. Dec 18 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) plans to provide up to $100 million in initial financing for the Sileno polyethylene project in Kazakhstan, which will be carried out jointly by KazMunayGas (KMG), Russia’s SIBUR and China’s Sinopec, EDB Deputy CEO Yaroslav Mandron told Interfax-Kazakhstan.
