ASTANA. Dec 4 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakhstan’s Senate, the upper house of parliament, on Thursday approved amendments to the Subsoil Use Code that, among other measures, raise the minimum mandatory stake of National Atomic Company Kazatomprom in projects seeking uranium exploration licenses to 75%, up from the current 50%.
