Kazakhstan to grant special status to new digital city Alatau with direct government subordination

ASTANA. Sept 8 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Monday ordered the preparation of a decree granting special status to the city of Alatau that would place it under direct government control, part of plans to develop a fully digital regional hub.
