Kazakhstan reports progress in lowering accident risk at 9 power plants

ASTANA. Aug 21 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Nine power plants in Kazakhstan have been reclassified from the high accident-risk "red zone" to the less critical "yellow zone," while three others have advanced from the “yellow” to the safe "green zone" after modernization work, the government said Wednesday.
